The background was painted quickly with acrylic then dabbed with crumpled plastic wrap lightly dipped in more acrylic. Once dry a white stamp pad was used to stencil the alphabet letters. Finally, I wrote out my frustration in sharpie.
Thanks! I was so stuck when I sat down to work in my book and I just thought "Oh what the hell- just throw down some paint." Some people call that "forcing" it, I prefer to call it giving your muse a swift kick in the pants. =D
